I’m Paul Lombarte, a contemporary artist focused on creative technology from Barcelona, and my work explores the intersection of technology and human experience. I’m particularly known for selling my own heartbeats as a form of art and for creating a new type of NFT that’s connected to living bodies. My goal is to experiment with new forms of expression by merging crypto art with personal and technological elements, such as clocks and lights.
My artistic practice is deeply rooted in blending the tangible with the digital. By integrating biometric data and innovative technology, I aim to push the boundaries of traditional art and create experiences that are both immersive and thought-provoking.
During my residency at the Cyborg Foundation, I’ve had the opportunity to work on exciting projects like the Sonochromatic Piano and the Sense of Time. These projects reflect my passion for combining art with cutting-edge technology, allowing me to offer audiences a unique perspective and interactive experiences.
I’m continually exploring how emerging technologies can transform art, challenging conventional perceptions and inviting new ways of engaging with creative expression.
